We purchased the capsule with the pram. The capsule is really heavy and super tight which makes my baby hot even when the aircon is on she would cry if she is in it for more than an hour. We thought as well that it is convenient just to take the capsule out of the base but my husband is complaining on how heavy the capsule is plus my 3 kg baby also I would buy convertible next time as this is only for a short term use and it is expensive
Purchased this because it rated highly for safety according to the CREP ratings, plus it was compatible with a stroller (we got the Chicco Trevi).
Our baby loved it from the minute he came home from hospital! Found it useful for settling him for those times he was difficult to get to sleep; he would also fall asleep in it easily in the car- and because it could transfer straight to pram we could get him in and out of the car without disturbing him.
Only pitfall is that, now he is 6 months, capsule and baby is heavy to lift in and out of the c
My first capsule was a steelcraft cruiser capsule, but I always struggled getting it in and out of the car, or doing up the straps. I also wanted a stroller for it to click into so after doing research I found the trevi stroller and capsule easier to use than my steelcraft. The straps are a lot easier to do up and release, and the capsule is just a simple pull of a handle to release from the car. Was also great clipping it into my stroller when bubs was asleep.
Great capsule! Clicks in and out - very user friendly! I love it, our daughter was born in summer so it was good to click the the capsule out and leave it indoors, we would leave it under the air con to cool it down before we hopped into the car (which would be really hot!!) and I am sure we will do the same in winter - that way when I click her in and out im not getting soaked in the cold rain!!!
We bought an adaptor for it to fit our BOB Revolution. Baby bunting said there wasnt an attachment (but there is!!!). Clicks into the car and into
This capsule was actually purchased by my husband as a surprise for me. It was apparently one of the safest on the market. Thankfully we haven't had to test that aspect of it. I will say that there are many positives: safety, easy to put in and out of the car, very easy to attach to our bugaboo buffalo. I have found it very easy to clean. However, there are a couple of negatives:
Firstly, it is very heavy with the baby inside. I suspect this adds to the safety of it but if you are a petite woman I wouldn't get this one or a travel system
